Panther State Forest, located on the border of West Virginia and Virginia, is the state’s southernmost state forest. It occupies 7,810 rugged acres, and its heavily wooded surroundings offer a range of outdoor amenities like camping, hiking trails, scenic overlooks, fishing, picnicking, swimming and hunting.
Reservations cancelled at least 60 days prior to arrival may request a refund for the deposit paid. In the event the reservation is canceled within 60 days of arrival, the paid deposit will be refunded as customer credit for a future reservation, provided the guest notifies the State Park about the cancellation more than seven (7) days prior to the reservation date. Refunds will not be permitted for reservations cancelled within seven (7) days of arrival.
