Located in the southeastern corner of the state near the border of Virginia, Greenbrier State Forest provides over 5,100 acres of heavily forested, mountainous terrain for outdoor recreation. Magnificent views of the surrounding countryside are afforded by the impressive and imposing 3,280 high Kate's Mountain. Greenbrier State Forest cabins and campsites are open the third Friday in April and close October 31. Reservations for cabin rentals are taking year-round for stays during these dates. For the true outdoors-minded, Greenbrier State Forest offers a disc golf course, a shooting range, hiking and biking trails and hunting opportunities.

Written Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled at any time for a credit toward a future reservation equal to the total amount paid. Reservations cancelled at least 60 days prior to arrival may request a refund for the amount of the deposit paid.
Written Deposit Policy
A deposit of 50% is required at time of booking. Remaining balance is due 7 days prior to arrival. For reservations made within 7 days, full rental fee is required at time of booking.

Pets Policy
Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly cabins for a fee of $20 per day, limited to 2 pets per cabin. Dogs and cats are the only pets permitted in state parks and forests. Pets must be leashed and restrained.
Other Policy
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed within forest boundaries.
