HOLLY RIVER STATE PARK

With 8,101 acres of dense forest, Holly River is West Virginia’s second largest state park. Located in a narrow valley in the Mountain Lakes region, the park is surrounded by heavily forested mountains, some reaching more than 2,800 feet in height. The dense forests of Holly River provide guests with a natural setting where they can find peaceful solitude. Recreational opportunities in this park include camping, hiking, swimming and tennis. Amenities include picnic shelters, the Holly River Restaurant and corrals for campers with horses. Holly River State Park is known for a wide range of flora, including wildflowers and ferns.

Policies

Written Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled at any time for a credit toward a future reservation equal to the total amount paid. Reservations cancelled at least 60 days prior to arrival may request a refund for the amount of the deposit paid.
Written Deposit Policy
A deposit of 50% is required at time of booking. Remaining balance is due 7 days prior to arrival. For reservations made within 7 days, full rental fee is required at time of booking.

Pets Policy
Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly cabins for a fee of $20 per day, limited to 2 pets per cabin. Dogs and cats are the only pets permitted in state parks and forests. Pets must be leashed and restrained.
Other Policy
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed within park boundaries.
